Great Series!

I waited a long time for this installment of the series and it was worth the wait! Ms. D'Arc has again created a great world with detail and action. Julian and Star at first appeared to be such a mismatched couple, but as the story progresses it became evident they were perfect for each other. This story also included so many surprises that I truly hope there is another installment to expand on them.

I really love this series by Ms D'Arc. I love the prior stories better than I did this one, but she has done an Awesome job in build and showing the love growing between the H&H. This is a great love story. Recommend! Please keep writing!

A Fantastic Method For Study To Become An Superintendent!

I am currently in my Master's program for Educational Leadership with dreams and aspirations of one day climbing the ladder and becoming an Superintendent for a school district. I purchased this flashcard study system as an early approach to familiarizing myself with the scenarios and expectations that will inevitability arise in the position. I am under the impression that this system will also help me when I become a Principal as well. Although I have some time to prepare and many more obstacles to overcome on my way to my future dream job, I know with this system I will be more prepared than my fellow colleagues. All in all, I have found it to be best used in increments as there is a lot of material to cover. I highly recommend it to anyone who is preparing or is on their way to obtaining a Superintendent license. I did receive this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased feedback.

Fascinating!

A fascinating work about how geography can play into archaeological discoveries. The descriptions by Homer has for centuries caused concern over the current proposed site of Troy and other sites mentioned in the Iliad and Odyssey. In my case, the movements of people from Egypt and Troy to Spain, France, the British Isles, and on to Norway seem to fit into Iman Wilkens' research. One has to wonder if there are any archaeologists' "digs" occurring to help prove his theories.

Deserves better

Being a fan of more than just Kate Beckensale, I was really excited to immerse myself yet again in this universe.

Unfortunately this particular comic falls quite short of the mark.
The adaptation for the first movie is awful. Very poorly written out with very little information given at all.

The second film adaptation is a better, but moves to quickly and glosses over much of what is presented in the film itself.

The high point of this collection are the Red in Tooth and Claw stories.
Though it does not line up with the third film in any way, it helps flesh out the character of Raze a bit.

Get the Red in Tooth and Claw collection, otherwise, stick with the movies.

Love Underworld? Then you will LOVE this!

There isn't much to say - if you are a true fan of the Underworld franchise, you are going to fall in love with this graphic novel. I usually look down on graphic novels/comics/anime/manga/etc. but I really fell in love with this one! I'd also recommend reading "The Crow" by James O'barr if you like this!

About the Author
Daniel Reisberg is The Patricia and Clifford Lunneborg Professor of Psychology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Professor Reisberg’s research has focused on the nature of mental imagery as well as on people’s ability to remember emotionally significant events. He has served on the editorial boards of many cognitive psychology journals, and is the editor of the Oxford Handbook of Cognitive Psychology. Reisberg also consults extensively with law enforcement and the justice system, and is the author of The Science of Perception and Memory: A Pragmatic Guide for the Justice System.

Average textbook for an interesting topic.

The information in this textbook is comprehensive and details all the major concepts that cognitive psychology contains. It clearly defines complicated terms and ideas, and elucidates on the major theories that are specific to this field of psychology.

I have a few issues with the textbook that hurts its utility, with the first being its inadequate subject index making it difficult to find specific concepts or words and the page number they correspond to. I experienced this many times while trying to complete assignments, and found it simpler to google the concepts as it was faster than skimming the chapters for what I was seeking. Secondly, I feel the textbook goes into extremes in its attempts to relate the material in a pragmatic sense, when an explanation of the theory and the data that supports it would be more than sufficient. Finally, the ZAPS program seems a bit dated visually and could benefit from an overhaul of its user interface.

Overall, this textbook will get you through the course and give you a decent foundation in cognition.

With ZAPS?

I received the book and workbook....but NO zaps. When I echatted with a rep was told I could get a refund and he was sorry it didn't come with it like it should have. As a result my online professor is thankfully working with me as I have labs due! I wrote an email to the ZAPS people too....no response. It's difficult to trust again. I paid for the combo and did not get it...somebodies making some extra money! I like the text...workbook not impressive.

Bad book with potential

Although I learned alot of interesting things from this book I hated it. The author was so repetitive about simple things but only briefly explained most of th hard to grasp, head scratching things. Also, when past research experiments were explained to prove a point the author never mentioned any limitations and seemed as if he just wanted the reader to take it as face value. This was the biggest issue for me because I could come up with alot of possible limitations of the mentioned experiment that made me question the authors explabations of how things worked and why they worked that way.
