A good pick up for Cthulhu - but read for the trigger warning

I picked this up in PDF version, which came in real handy later. This is a collection of Call of Cthulhu items.
A new creature/item - The Golden Goblin. An interesting take - I rather like the origin idea.
A smuggler cult, ready to be inserted into a game.
The Devil's Opera - also ready to be inserted into your game. A very neat idea.
Suggestions on playing a military character. Not necessary for me due to my heavy reading in military history, but certainly could be useful for others.
A new Great Old One - truly unnecessary to me. Bugg-Shash? Seriously? I agree with the Trail folks that we don't need new Old Ones.
A new Tome - Again, I agree with the Trail folks that the more Mythos tomes, the merrier.
The Silks of Irem - I don't care for the item, but I like the idea behind it.

The rest of the books are scenarios. I'm glad they don't call them adventures. Here is where I'm glad that I got the PDF, as I pitched one scenario involving child sexual abuse. For very personal reasons this is a nonstarter for me, so in the trash that went. If I had Kickstarted this, I would have been very peeved. In fact, I think this has sworn me off ever doing another Kickstarter for an RPG.
Other than that, you have:
Consumption - a well written adventure about cannibals.
The Lonely Point Lighthouse - I really like this one. The players have a very nice ethical dilemma.
With Blue Uncertain Stumbling - I very much like this one as well. I appreciate the villain being described as B list. Nice to know not every one is a Great Old God.
Darkness Illuminated - Another good ethical dilemma at the end.
Overall, a great pick up, but I just can't give it 5 stars for a child sexual abuse scenario. That's useless to me, not to mention painful, so had to take off a star.
